LIMITED EQUIPMENT HOME LEG DAY🦵🏻
Apologises in advance for the horrendous angles and aesthetics of these videos (lol @ the fallen curtain rail and broken drawers), I’m still getting into the swing of filming indoor home workouts🤦🏼♀️ On top of that I feel so gross atm and really debated posting this at all but hey ho gotta be real with you✌🏻we don’t always look and feel our best and that’s ok.
So I know I’m not posting full workouts regularly at the moment and to be honest with you it’s just because I’m currently repeating the same sort of db based sessions again and again and they’re just not very exciting.
I’m also on a caffeine break atm (cry) so the @awesomesupps
preworkout 2.0 has been perfect for me to use as an alternative and to be honest I’m loving it! If you prefer to limit your caffeine intake then I’d fully recommend it! Also using the watermelon electrolytes for this session which I’m obsessed with as the taste is amazing, it looks beautiful and is so hydrating.
here’s a few snippets from this session:
•GOBLET SQUATS (single heavy db)- 3:2:1 tempo (x10) followed by 10x quick reps (x5 sets)
•DB RDL w/ slow eccentric movement (3x12)
•HAMSTRING CURL TRISET
-Single let w/ slow eccentric (x10 each leg)
-Both legs w/ slow eccentric (x10)
-Both legs fast reps (x10)
•STAIR CALF RAISES
-slow downwards movement -> pause at the bottom of the stretch (ouch)-> control up. (Reps until failure x3 sets)
~Considering before lockdown I have never trained calves (if you can’t tell) I’m really enjoying these as they give me a crazy burn that I’m not getting with a lot of exercises atm and in my full leg and glute aswell, not just the calf.
As soon as I’m back in that gym I’ll be posting some proper good sessions for all of you easing back into training post lockdown!🥳 Cheers gang✌🏻
